Highlight Office Complex, Munich, Germany
In the picturesque suburb of Schwabing, situated in the northern part of Munich, two glass-fronted high-rise structures designed by the well known American architects Murphy and Jahn were constructed. The 113 m and 126 m high towers are comprised of reinforced concrete slabs and steel columns with bracing frame. The usually present cores and elevator shafts made of reinforced concrete walls were absent on this occasion. The transparent high-rise buildings are connected with two footbridges at a height of approx. 100 ft.
