Terraced housing in Deizisau, Germany
Simple handling, quick erection and fast moving: Safety increased and costs lowered with ASG 160.
As individual brackets for the working and safety scaffold were no longer adequate for reasons of safety and economy, and after an intensive comparison of competitive products, the contractor decided on ASG 160.
The patented complete system was used for the first time in the construction of these terraced houses with three units in classic brickwork construction and solid slab floors over the ground floor.
With 16 main, 12 intermediate and 4 corner platforms the site team safely covered the complete building plan of 10 x 19.50 m. Because of the buildings shed roof construction, both longitudinal sides were scaffolded differently. There were height adjustments on the front of the building that allowed the platforms to be hung 1.25 m higher. The requirements of the Construction
Industry Accident Association could be met with just a few supplementary extension mesh panels. Fixing the main platforms on the upper anchor loops was sufficient at the rear. All platforms were suspended on wall
scaffold hinges that were assembled on anchors previously concreted into the edge of the slab over the ground floor.
