Slab forming made quick and easy using PERI SKYDECK

The Beachwood Place Parking Garage is a 230,000 sqft (21,400 sqm) one level posttensioned 9" (23 cm) slab with a clear story height which varied from 12''-3" (3.73 m) to 17''-0" (5.18 m). The slab slopes in both directions for drainage.
PERI provided 30,000 sqft (2,787 sqm) of the PERI SKYDECK panel system in the post-shore head configuration supported by PERI MULTIPROP 189" (4.80 m) shores. The SKYDECK panels are sufficiently flexible to conform to the two way slope of the slab and the MULTIPROP 189" shores with their 102" to 189" (2.60 to 4.80 m) range were able to accommodate the differing clear story heights.

    PERI SKYDECK to reduce construction costs:
    SKYDECK minimizes cleaning. The SKYDECK panels and main beams have edges that are self-draining and undercut. These features keep the sides clean and take the effort out of cleaning.
    SKYDECK components are lightweight aluminum.

    This is because panel slab formwork systems have to be erected and struck by hand. No component weighs more than 33 lbs.(15 kg), the 150 x 75 panel for instance is only 32.63 lbs.(14.8 kg).
    SKYDECK''s main beam reduces the number of props to only 0.027 per sqft (0.29 per sqm) of slab.
