A 210 m² inner platform climbs without a crane carrying 450 m² of VARIO formwork
This new office and business building lies directly in the diamond trading centre of Ramat-Gan, one of the most modern areas in Israel. With 70 floors and a total height of over 252 m this office block is the highest building in the Middle East.
The construction sequence and method was previously stipulated by the Project Manager: the building core for lift shafts and stairwells was to be concreted, together with the outer walls, in one working cycle.
PERI decided to employ the ACS-R System for the façade, in which the VARIO inner formwork is hung on a gallows construction. In the circular area large formwork units (gallows construction) were moved with an hydraulic carriage. The construction time was achieved without delay with this economical formwork method. Five complete floors were finished each month, and with only 40 men working in one shift.
