Efficient Shoring System Solution
adapted to Site Requirements
Not far from Warsaw‘s city centre, the new headquarters building of the DaimlerChrysler Corporation in Poland is being constructed. Together with a Mercedes Benz dealership containing showrooms and a service centre this facility will employ over 200 people.
For safely transferring the loads of the 8.00 m to 12.00 m high slabs, the contractors chose to work with PERI UP Rosett supporting scaffold and the MULTIPROP shoring system. The advantages of the MULTIPROP system with regards to higher load-bearing capacity (up to 90 kN per prop), less materials, and fast, simple assembly were fully exploited in the areas of high load concentration. For supporting large and high slab areas, the PERI UP Rosett supporting scaffold provided the contractors with an inexpensive alternative.
The round slabs of the main building were formed with large customised tables(18 m²). These were pre-assembled at the PERI plant in Warsaw and delivered as complete units to the site. Working platforms, stop ends and safety barriers were firmly mounted to the slab table edges and could be moved simultaneously thus saving time by eliminating the need for any disassembly.
