Table modules for slabs;
Fast construction progress - relatively low construction costs

This new student accommodation block erected in cross-wall construction contains 259 welling units. It is divided into a five-storey West section with
1,040 m² floor area per floor and a four-storey East section with 720 m² per floor.

Through the division of the slab area into two sections, economical cycles could be planned. The site worked with 118 VT table modules in three standard sizes (2.65 x 4.00 m and
2.65 / 2.15 x 5.00 m) that were used inside and on the perimeter. The tables were moved with the 1t / 5.0 m C-Hook. The props remained connected to the tables during this; they were simply folded up for moving over the breast walls and parapets. After releasing, the props automatically clip into the swivel heads again.

    Because same plan geometry was similar on all floors, the filler panels were cut only once and used in all storeys. That lowered the formwork times and the plywood use.
    TRIO proved to be the right choice for columns, breast and parapet walls and dividing walls. The few components needed enabled fast construction progress by the crew.
    Concreting of columns and breast walls in one pour brought further savings in time for the construction progress.
