Efficient crane climbing formwork for
shorter construction time and high quality execution
The shell of this 38-storey business centre consists of L-shaped wall corner sections on the facade and, in plan view, rectangular columns as well as two symmetrically-arranged stairway and elevator shaft cores acting as constructive bracing.
Using CB 160 brackets and VARIO GT 24 girder wall formwork, PERI engineers came up with a climbing formwork solution consisting of 20 units (brackets together with formwork) which could be moved to the next floor with only one crane lift thus saving a lot of time. PD 8 slab tables rounded off the expertly designed formwork solution perfectly so that the complete shell was finished in the stipulated 12 months.
