Town Park Hotel, Samara, Russian Federation
System formwork for skeleton construction Reliable even at extreme temperatures
Near the shores of the Volga in Samara there is a new hotel with 174 rooms. The enormous skeleton construction is based on a column spacing of 7.20 x 7.20 m. That provides decisive advantages: The grid basically provides freedom of planning for the most different projects. And the formwork systems purchased for this complex can be used 100% for other such projects.
Used for the skeleton construction are: TRIO for walls and square columns, SRS for the circular columns, MULTIFLEX girder slab formwork and the large panel UNIPORTAL slab tables (6.60 x 5.40 m) that have become a tradition in Samara.
With only 460 m² of UNIPORTAL slab tables and 270 m² of MULTIFLEX formwork a total slab area of 17,800 m² will be economically formed.

Altogether 10,500 m³ of concrete is to be poured, most of it at temperatures down to minus 30° C. Under these extreme conditions the PERI formwork systems have proved themselves excellently. |
 |
The wall and slab formwork is enclosed and heated with 30° C hot air for the quality concrete, and columns are heated with electrodes or hot wires. A total economical result is nevertheless achieved here: the heating costs are compensated by shortened striking times. |
