MULTIPROP Falsework: Flexible, high loading capacity and approved by the construction safety Authorities
The stadium, constructed in stages from 1932 onwards, was generously modernized with a main stand building and new surrounding stands.
44 VIP lounges, that can be hired the whole year and can also serve as offices, are a part of the new concept. The Stuttgart marketing strategists joined a countrywide trend with this, by which new customers and markets are to be developed to secure theexistence of the club.

Safety and cost advantages through a licenced application
According to the recognized standards and rules in falsework and formwork construction (e.g. DIN 4421) the stability of falsework is to be proved for each use. This involves a great deal of work for normal systems and is therefore associated with high costs.
Not so with the PERI MULTIPROP system, because PERI, as the only manufacturer, has a licence both for the individual prop as well as for the system, and the type certificate resulting from this for almost every practical erection variation up to a maximum height of 14.40 m.
This is of great importance, because with such falsework systems the proof of stability is constructionally impossible without submitting a licence.
Conclusion: if the user wants to be certain to be able to erect the planned scaffolding with the agreement of the responsible structural engineer, a system with a construction supervisory licence must be selected.

Two 270 mm and 300 mm thick floor slabs were to be constructed for the main stand building at a height of 9.64 m and 13.04 m, that were to be held in position until the final integration into the steel construction of the other stands above. An ideal application for the MULTIPROP system. |

The advantages of the lightweight aluminium system were clear, especially for the steel construction of the staircases in the main stand: Through the flexible construction grid – square and rectangular – the MULTIPROP falsework could be ideally adjusted to the steel construction. |
