Smooth construction sequence
with flexible mobile tunnel formwork
The tunnel consists of two parallel rectangular sections, and forms part of the 16.6 km longest Swedish motorway project. This four-lane ring road around Stockholm should lead to a significant relief in traffic in the Swedish capital from the year 2004.
The PERI solution consisted of three wall and two mobile slab formwork units.
The mobile wall formwork is a gallow construction with counterweights on which two TRIO units were suspended. An hydraulic installation provided infinite adjustment to the 0.80 – 1.80 m thick walls.

The mobile slab formwork was carried, in section, by two pairs of props. The adjustment to the changing section widths was made by the individually extendable telescopic beams. |

The working sequence could be considerably eased through the high operating comfort of the mobile formwork. |
